$50,000 reached!

Thanks to all of you who's joined us since our last update, and to all of you who's upgraded your pledges to include our ADD-ONS. Thanks to you we've reached our stretch goal! 

This means that everyone that pledges over $99 will receive an Anne of Green Tea Gables tea blend with their rewards. You can even add more to your pledge. Anne of Green Tea Gables is now available as an ADD-ON for $12 per 1oz of tea.

We've received requests for more tea towel designs, so we've added three new versions to our tea towel selection. Add as many as you like to your order for $20 each.

What about Pippi?

Nothing short of a miracle will see us at $90,000 in the next two days, but we're looking at other options for how to make more of her tin. Stay tuned for updates.

Wow! 

We are simply blown away by the amazing support of this communi-tea. 

Because it is purely thanks to you that we've not only surpassed our minimum goal ON THE FIRST DAY, but we've raised over $36,000! In comparison our last Kickstarter raised a total of $75,000 in thirty days. 

This is all your doing; we've had no media coverage, and our ad budget is less than the price of a complete collection. Thank you kindly to all of you for continuing to share the project. 

 WHAT ABOUT PIPPI? 

We never expected to see these numbers so early in the campaign; we're now investigating if it's possible to make a stretch goal to bring her back for purchase. Her tin is produced in very small batches for our Kickstarter campaigns, but if we continue to see backers pour in like this, there might be a number where we can financially manage to bring her back.

What Lies Around The Bend: New Stretch Goal Unlocked!

We are feeling extra cheerful today!

Having just passed our latest stretch goal at $40k, we are excited to tell you that EVERY NovelTea Tin will now will now include a free bookplate sticker illustrated by the very talented Julia Glushchuk (of War and Peach fame.)  

 

Onwards to the next stretch goal! We've wanted to pour some attention on 'Anne of Green Gables' for a while and now is our chance. This tea will be a sprightly green tea cuppa, (perhaps with raspberry) inspired by L.M. Montgomery's timeless novel. 

 If we reach $50,000 in funding, all $99+ pledges will receive 1 oz of our planned Anne of Green Tea Gables tea blend. You'll also be able to add her tea blend to your pledge as an ADD-ON for $12,- Making her tea will be the first step towards a future NovelTea Tin for Anne, illustrated by Lily Jones. So if you're a F(anne) of Green Tea Gables, make sure to share the campaign and help us get there.  

 

Is it possible to add a specific Tins to a pledge? Answer: Yes, this is indeed possible! Just add an extra $32 per Tin to your pledge. You will be able to specify the exact Tin you want, after the campaign.

You asked, so we deliver. Introducing, our first ADD-ON for this Kickstarter... 100% Cotton Tea Towels! Featuring artwork from Down the Rabbit Hole, we found a highly recommended maker, Sweet Clementine Print, who's providing us with beautiful, lint-free, Flour Sack tea towels made from 100% cotton.  

The towels are free of all dyes and thus wonderfully safe for use around food. Flour Sack towels are unique compared to other towels and have distinctive sewn edges and are not perfectly square - adding to their character!
